Message-ID: <Cxu6rC.Mut@beaver.cs.washington.edu> Sender: news@beaver.cs.washington.edu (USENET News System) Organization: Computer Science & Engineering, U. of Washington, Seattle Date: Mon, 17 Oct 1994 21:37:42 GMT Lines: 21 This question has been asked twice, but with no response on the net, so I'll try again. From were can one buy the NCR 53c825 PCI SCSI chip, or alternately, which motherboards come with this chip installed? With the recent release by Wolfgang Stanglmeier and Stefan Esser (se@fileserv1.MI.Uni-Koeln.DE) of a driver for this chip (ftp'able from FTP.Uni-Koeln.DE:~ftp/packages/FreeBSD), and its rumored inclusion in upcoming versions of both NetBSD and FreeBSD, this seems like a good way to go for those of us shopping for a new PC. Thanks for any help you can give. -- Dr. Gary Herron | Email: gjh@ag.wa.com Applied Geometry | Snail: PO Box 4561 206-628-0342 | Seattle WA 98104
