If I stress the SCSI bus ( I'll show how I do that in a minute), the bus hangs with the SCSI LED stuck on (in most cases). The command that I use to stress the bus is: cd / find . -type f -print -exec cp {} /dev/null \; This command will run for a while (5-10 minutes) before hanging. Sometimes it even completes, but if I run the same command again it hangs. Hardware: ASUS SP3 motherboard NCR 810 SCSI controller (uses intr 9) 2 high speed serial ports printer port IDE/floppy controller Saturn Chipset 32MB RAM 512KB cache AMD 486DX2/66 3 PCI slots/ 4 ISA slots DEC DSP3105 Disk Drive (1 Gig) Toshiba 3401B CDROM Drive ATI GUP w/ 2MB VRAM (ISA version) I don't know what to do from this point. How do I debug this from here? Thanks for any help! -- Jeff Haynes Tandem Computers, Inc. haynes@mpd.tandem.com
