I've got a brand spanking new SLIP account up and running, and today I'm
ftping my first big file (pine). Well, the ftp is going about the speed
of my old 9600 modem using sz/rz (or slower). Is this because I've got
flow control completely off? Or is SLIP inherently slow? Or is *ftp*
inherently slow? I'm really surprised.

I'm using a 28.8 modem, hooked up to same (both USR).
slattach -a -s 115200 /dev/cua00

Any ideas? Do I just have to live with it (or go back to sz)?
