I am tired of tackling the kerberos distribution from mit, so I went and *gasp* went to sunsite to get the linux distribution sources for it and recompiled those .. Only a few changes and they were on their way to compiling .. went to test them, and they didn't work right (Password was always incorrect). Then, I noticed that it was defining LSBFIRST, where MSBFIRST should have been defined. Great, maybe I'll get it working now, I thought. Recompiled, and now if I give it the correct password, it says: "Time out of bounds." With an incorrect password, it tells me that I entered the incorrect password. Something leads me to believe that there are time structure differences between NetBSD and Linux... (BTW, I have tried resetting the date, I used rdate to set my clock off of the kerberos server, I reset the date 48 times .. all to no avail) Thanks for any help! -Chris -- Chris Mattingly | Computer and Technologies Theme Program, NCSU, Raleigh 414-D Wood Hall | PO Box 21554 | NCSU | Home computer: A3000 - crazytrain.catt.ncsu.edu Raleigh, NC 27607 | (919) 512-8859 | Email: Chris_Mattingly@ncsu.edu
