I was wondering if anybody had gotten one of the *BSD variants to work with the Ultrastore 24F. And, if so, how? I'm working on pulling down both NetBSD and FreeBSD to test out -- I've tried Linux (primarily because everybody I know uses it (that east coast thing? <grin>)) but it has some serious driver bugs with it's support of the 24F (it's an EISA SCSI card, BTW). Note that I don't really care which Unix I install on my machine -- only that it's stable enough for work. I've wasted ALOT of time trying to get Linux to work and would like to avoid that (if possible!) as I hack through the *BSD installations. I really appreciate any help you can provide!
