Date: 31 Oct 1994 01:56:22 GMT Organization: StarNet Communications, Inc Lines: 13 Message-ID: <391is6$b2j@blackice.winternet.com> Reply-To: jdb@robigo.winternet.com NNTP-Posting-Host: icicle.winternet.com Why is it that when I am using a telnet session, ^O does not get transmitted to the remote site? (I also tried telnetting to localhost, I get the same behavior.) When using rlogin it works just fine. To be more specific, when I am using emacs at my local site, ^O will not insert lines when I am connected via telnet, but will when I am connected via rlogin. I can find nothing in the man pages to explain this. I am using FreeBSD-1.1.5.1. -John
