Date: 2 Nov 1994 19:33:23 GMT Organization: University of California, Santa Barbara Lines: 16 Message-ID: <398pi3$leg@ucsbuxb.ucsb.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: mcl.mcl.ucsb.edu I keep getting told that my IDE drive will eventually crash. I want the truth from someone who it happened to, not this rumour shit. What exactly happened, and why! Thanx. BTW, I am running FreeBSD 1.1.5.1 after a DOS partition of 750 megs. The # of cylinders on my drive is 2099, but I still got it working through a few hacks.
