Will Jesus shut up just because you want him to? If there isn't a FAQ, and qualified people don't answer the questions, the only answers will be unqualified ones. And yes, we'll discover that FreeBSD is bad because it doesn't have tcsh. The only sensible way to do this is with a FAQ which doesn't say which system is better, but gives objective information about what's in each of them. Ideally, this would involve cooperation between FreeBSD, NetBSD, BSDI and Linux. I doubt you'll get the cooperation of BSDI, but I think that the other groups could come to some kind of agreement, and that it would be a good idea. >I don't agree. All FAQs age, and this one will, at any given time, contain out-of-date information. That's not a reason not to produce one.
