It was a fast well priced file server. 3.5 now has this idiot client license system so with lots of clients its like Novell - ludicrously expensive. How can it be justified too - it doesn't cost microsoft any more if you add more clients using the box. SAMBA under Unix is at least free allbeit a little slower.
