The offset was 0 and the filesystem type was 4.2BSD. The next three parameters were 1024, 8192, and 16. I changed the RPM to 3600 and the interleave to 1. I then did a :wq and got the following error: Label magic number or checksum is wrong (disklabel or kernel out of date). I am taking it to mean that the addition is not coming up correctly. Can someone fill me in as to what I may be missing? Maybe the offset needs to be 1? Let me know, thanks.. ..Sal ************************************************************* *Salvatore Collora System Administrator* *Loyola Marymount University Network Consultant * *Phone 310-338-7719 Fax 310-338-7717 * *************************************************************
