Anybody working on this ? > From what I understand, the SCSI portion of the soundblaster is Adaptec 1542 compatible, so you ought to be able to use it. I considered going this route a few months ago, but decided against it when I grilled the techs and got them to admit that Adaptec would not release their BIOS support; this meant to me that I would never be able to BOOT from a SCSI attached disk even though I may have been able to MOUNT a disk after the system was up.
