Hmmm...I haven't done it myself, but you may want to check out the MiNT (Atari Unix-like OS) port of gcc, available via anon ftp from atari.archive.umich.edu (and mirrors thereof). MacMiNT (the Macintosh port of MiNT) also uses MiNT software; its archive is suniams1.statistik.tu-muenchen.de. Hope this helps!
