NetBSD/mac68k works on these machines:
   SE/30, II, IIx, IIcx, IIci

Using a serial terminal or SL/IP connection, you can run it on these:
   IIsi, IIvx, IIvi (probably)

There will hopefully soon be a fix to the ADB so that the previous
machines work without the need for a serial terminal. At that
time it is hoped these other machines will have a chance to run:
   Performa 600, PB165c, PB170, PB180, PB180c, Mac LC 520 (Performa 550),
   Mac LC 550 (Performa 460)

The primary distribution site is:
   ftp://acm.vt.edu/pub/NetBSD_Mac

At this point, an FPU is required. For the II, the PMMU is required.
The trend above is that it is working on some 68020s and 68030s.
Someday it will probably work with several 68040s. If you have a
machine with an HMU, forget it. And the PowerMac will require an
entirely new port of NetBSD. You will not be able to run NetBSD/mac68k
in "emulation" on a PowerMac. The OS takes over your machine, it
does not run as a process under MacOS. And no, you can't run MacOS
as a process on top of NetBSD/mac68k. Yet. :)
