What version do you have?  I am running FreeBSD 1.1.0.5 and PPP is standard
equipment er.. make that ALMOST standard equipment :-#)

The daemon is /usr/libexec/pppd.  Sources are in /usr/src/libexec/pppd as
expected.

You WILL need to rebuild your kernel.  Add the line "pseudo-device ppp 1"
to your kernel config file and rebuild.

So, assuming you have the source distribution you have everything you need.
