Does anyone know where I can find a better fingerd? >(preferably the binary!!:) It's not the finger daemon that does the matching of any sort. Fingerd just forks off the finger binary. The finger binary does do matches on the first gecos field. (i.e. you can finger a first name or last name on your machine and it will match.) As far as wildcards, all I can say is goodluck. -- Chris Mattingly | Computer and Technologies Theme Program, NCSU, Raleigh 414-D Wood Hall | PO Box 21554 | NCSU | Home computer: A3000 - crazytrain.catt.ncsu.edu Raleigh, NC 27607 | (919) 512-8859 | Email: Chris_Mattingly@ncsu.edu
