Hello everybody... over the weekend I setup BSD 1.1 at home in my 486 :-(
(sorry no money for anything faster) and I have 2 IDE's and 1 SCSI drive. I was
able to setup all of BSD with no problems, disksetup, installsw, etc. The only
problem that I have is that - even though - I said that I wanted multiple boot
options DOS & BSD, my system goes straight into dos. I follow the instructions
on the book that says that IF you want to use bootany you have to modify your
booting options and I still get the problem.
My question is, is there a way to modify the boot option after I installed
BSD or do I have to install BSD again. (my PC boots from my first IDE (DOS) at the
moment), and can I do this without reinstalling BSD ?? do I have to bootup from CD ??
or do I boot single user mode from the disk that I have BSD on ??.
Thanks in advanced.
