WinBIOS problems? Message-ID: <garyt.784582714@lgc.com> Keywords: reboot WinBIOS Sender: usenet@lgc.com Nntp-Posting-Host: miller.lgc.com Organization: Landmark Graphics Corporation Date: Fri, 11 Nov 1994 19:38:34 GMT Lines: 18 I recently bought a new 486 motherboard with AMI's new WinBIOS and it no longer reboots properly, rather it just sits idle until I manually reset it. I've checked this out in Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, and Windows NT and had the same results with each of them. Strangely enough, Ctrl+Alt+Del under DOS still works fine. I'm a little suspicious of the BIOS since it's so new. Has anyone had/heard of similar experiences?
