I did this on FreeBSD 1.1.5 using the flags "-static -z" resulting in "file" reporting "netbsd/i386 demand paged executable". Nice to see that FreeBSD still executes it! The archive is available on ftp.ims.uni-stuttgart.de:/pub/unix/FreeBSD/gnat-1.83-netbsd-static.tar.gz It extracts into /usr/local/GNU. Be sure to have /usr/local/GNU/bin first in your path, since gnatbl depends on the right version of gcc. Have fun, Nils. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Cornelis van der Laan --- nils@ims.uni-stuttgart.de IMS Universitaet Stuttgart --- nils@guru.stgt.sub.org #echo "Knusper Knusper Knaeuschen" > /etc/nologin
