Outside of your fairly specialised mind, PD does indeed mean
free of copyright restrictions.

Outside of your fairly specialised mind, no, it is not considered
PD. Dr. Tanenbaum directly controls the current (1.5) release,
and will do so for the forseeable future.

If you wish to post nonsense on BSD, post it to comp.os.minix -
no one will care. If you wish to post nonsense on Minix,
post to comp.os.bsd (?) - on the same principle; but it is
unwise to so extensively cross-post your follies.
