Nope. There are reports of Amiga people using 'ec030 machines that have working
MMUs. Some people have dead MMUs, some have partially working MMUs, and some 
people got lucky and got fully functioning one. 

The point is that just because an 030 chip is an ec doesn't mean the mmu doesn't
work. You just have to try it.
