Debugger("aha1542") called aha0: MBO not free This looks more to me like an adaptec controller jumpered for the wrong BUS speed, or an unterminated or badly terminated SCSI bus. There's nothing about a particular tape format that can cause this error! This is a hardware configuration problem. Jordan
