I think I can second this. I've been a linuxer since 0.99p13 but still 
feel frustrated with installing *BSD system. Of course my out-of-date 
hardware (and my incapalibity :-) also should be blame. 

BTW, can any one knowlegable point me to a step-by-step installation 
guide (FreeBSD or NetBSD), if it exists?
