You can properly refer to a "2400 baud" : interface, but NOT a "2400 baud/second" interface. Whoop, you're probably right. Been out too long from school. =) With QAM, 2400 bps modems are running at 600 baud, with 4 bits per symbol. Thanks, -Ade Barkah
