Am I missing something? Is it possible to use one port and one modem
for both in- and out-bound connections without reconfiguring /etc/ttys
and killing/restarting the getty/init?

I don't seem to find reference to this issue, yet would think that a such
bidirectional getty would be too desireable to have been left out.

Pointers or suggestions appreciated. Thanks. //
