I've recently started upgrading my system from 1.1.5.1 to 2.0 ALPHA.
I do have a few questions that I need answers to before I do the final
cutover:

* I believe that I can use packages from 1.x if I install the
compat1xdist. Is this true?

* How about X packages that were compiled for Xfree 2.1?

* Does the xview32 package work with X11R6? (I had problems with some
of the supplied tools [shelltool, ftptool, etc] when I installed this
on 1.1.5.1 running xview32.) If the binary package won't work, is there
a working port?

* When compiling source packages I now often get [Conflicting types for
'sys_errlist'] errors. These same source packages worked great under
1.1.5.1. What's changed, and how can I work around it?

* The pppd binary does not get installed for some reason. I was able
to compile it and get it working, however.

Other than these few problems, everything's working great. Kudos to
the FreeBSD team for a job well done.
