I would like to generalize the question: Is anyone out there seriously
thinking about porting 386BSD to a Motorola platform?

I have followed the Maach for Mac development but it seems that you still need
a BSD source license which our CC will never get. It seems that the GNU Hurd
is still years away, so 386BSD looks like the only unencumbered choice for a
really free Unix-like OS.
