       ADVICE TO ALL
       -------------

   For all involved:
This week, the second week of November, 1994, marks the release
of three versions of very similar BSD-like UNIX-like Operation
Systems -- 386BSD, FreeBSD and NetBSD. I am advising all parties
that have NOT tried a UNIX-like OS before; or have tried a
UNIX-like OS, but have not tried one of the above ---- not to
install any of the above systems in the near future.
   [spewage deleted...]
   My conjecture.
They're on the run, they don't have a clue as to how to write
decent code and the predictions I've made in the past about the
quiet developer may come full circle.
   My recommendation.
If you must install a UNIX-like system TODAY, try LINUX, Minix or OS/2.
Otherwise, please wait for the "shakeout", not all parties
       will last in this round.

Conjecture is right. You're asserting that Linux people (confessed
non-professionals in a lot of cases) have more of a clue how to write
operating system code than NetBSD and FreeBSD people?

Jesus, you're so full of shit the whites of your eyes aren't even
visible anymore.

It sounds to me like you're just all in a fluster because you can't
keep up with the developments in the NetBSD and FreeBSD camps, and
your feelings get hurt too often when people with a clue constantly
correct your mindless babbling. Have you even run a NetBSD-1.0
system?

I think you seriously need to talk to your doctor about switching your
prescription -- whatever you're taking now just isn't working.
