Schneider) writes: I have been unable to find man page references to either procfs or kernfs and swapinfo in NetBSD-1.0_BETA (about a week prior to the official release). Try man mount_procfs and mount_kernfs. I agree it would be helpful if there were symlinks so they showed up as just procfs and kernfs. Swapinfo is deprecated. Use pstat. Is it simply a matter of defining one or the other (or both?!) filesystems in /etc/fstab to enable them? Fstab doesn't enable anything -- it simply says what should be mounted where. Putting them in fstab will cause them to be mounted automatically at boot, if they're configured into your kernel. If not, simply rebuild a kernel with the correct options for both filesystems. -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Michael L.
