I've been trying to install MacBSD with no success...

Hardware: Mac IIsi - 17MB Mem - 170MB Internal + 540MB External
Created AUX partition (60MB Root) on external drive (Have another
AUX partition, but not used/mounted at install time). Make FS &
install seem to go well, but at boot time, it loads MacBSD, then
changes to full screen & prints message "Preserving 73360 bytes
netbsd symbol table", then the screen gets overwritten (from the
bottom - moving upward) by 80 vertical stripes consisting of a
bluish line several more-or-less pink lines, and a bit of white;
the pattern then repeats itself 80 times horizontally. When the
screen is full, all activity ceases - no response to anything but
a reset..
I tried reinstalling only base10+etc10+netbsd10 - no change.
I've also tried booting with extensions off, telling the booter
to use only 9 Meg memory, etc. Nothing seems to change the symptoms.
Looking at the BSD partition with the mini-shell, all seems in order;
key files and directories seem to all be there; /dev/ looks reasonable.

All help will be greatly appreciated.
