I'm trying to get Gostscript 2.6.1pl4 working under FreeBSD v1.0,
on a vanilla 386 (not under X). However I seem to be running into
an error in the file gs_init.ps (the 'setscreen' on line #853)

Initializing... Unrecoverable error: rangecheck in %set_screen_continue
Operand stack:
    0.0546875 true --nostringval--

Is this related to a floating point emulator error?

Is there a Ghostscript FAQ? Where is the FAQ?

Would Ghostscript v3.12 overcome this? Where can I get 3.12?

Greg :-)
