Hello

I have a few questions/problems that I hope someone can help me with; I
have read many faqs/archives, but don't understand or can't find what
would help...

system:
A3000/25; ECS/2Meg:4meg/32bit:6meg/24bit; 52meg amiga/80meg BSD;
	NEC-25 1x cdrom; USR Dual-standard 9600; mouse

___

I recently installed NetBSD-1.0 on my AMIGA (3000) and...

I am in interlace mode (and going blind), is there a simple way to
boot into non-interlace mode? (I have to use a lo-res monitor
	right now...)

I will prolly want to recompile the kernel (later?) but my /src dir is
empty; do I have the kernel src's? I have many files in /include...
	[I installed base10, etc10, text10, misc10, man10, comp10]

Err.. if not, I saw ksrc10, ssrc10, src10, and other sets
(on ftp.eecs.umich.edu) and dunno which is what...? what is what???!

I have an 80 meg drive dedicated to NetBSD... 5meg swap (I know.. sigh)
64 meg /usr and 10 meg / Am I heading into darkness? Am I destined
	to remain non-X ?

One thing I would VERY MUCH want to do is connect to my local server
with SLIP.. (I am connected now with my 'intel-inside' machine,
but would prefer to do so with Amy/BSD...)
I have printed/read the Networking-Faq, but I am still unable to
connect with local server over the telephone line.
	[tip says 'unknown host'... sigh]

If someone can lead me thru the setup for setting up a SLIP connection, I
	would be very happy...

Are there any nice-ish terminal programs out there in BSDland? With
built-in Zmodem? All I could find in terminal progs was Kermit...
	What do YOU use?

One thing that surprised me is that sz/rz is NOT included in the normal
configuration. I would have thought it a natural for inclusion
in the basic distribution. (assuming of course that a system is
	ABLE to dial-out.. :-)

Hmm... another thing I don't unnerstan is that ^L(control-ell) does-not
clear the screen, tho I am using a vt200 er... protocol.
	Is this correct?

I am obviously an expert in UNIX, ... (everyone here is laughing! why?!)
but jus wanna be sure of some things... ...:-))

Well, anyway, sorry to take up so much time, but would really appreciate
some kind person helping out YANB (Yet Another NewBie)
