Hello again
I'm trying to install XFree86-3.1 on my FreeBSD-1.1.5 system and
a question has come up, which server do i choose. In the system now
is an old(3-4 yrs) ATI VgaWonder. I also have a newer ATI VgaWonder+
available but would rather not use it since it doesn't have the bus
mouse port like the older one has. Anyway in the doc's i've read
it mentions the Mach8 and Mach32 chipsets for ATI. The manuals for
both my ATI cards do not mention any Mach_ at all. Are the Mach
chipsets newer than my cards? or am i missing somthing? Can i use
The SVGA or VGA16 servers?
Also are there any problems with XFree86 and a Bus mouse, should i
switch to a serial mouse?
Thanks Much, Ron
