Subject: sliplogin doesn't die (FreeBSD 1.1.??, 16650A)

Hi,

I use a machine as a slip-dialup and switched from Linux to FreeBSD 1.1.??

My problem is that slip works perfectly but when the other side hangs up
sliplogin doesn't recognize it. 'hupcl' and '-clocal' are set properly. A
'kill -HUP pid(sliplogin)' works perfectly. I have to say I use an 16550A.

Probably the com-driver (sio.c ?) doesn't get it? Did anyone have similar
problems?

Thanks for any help.

oli.
