Date: 29 Nov 1994 04:02:17 GMT Organization: CS Labs, University of Tennessee, Knoxville Lines: 12 Distribution: world Message-ID: <GILBERT.94Nov28230219@duncan.cs.utk.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: duncan.cs.utk.edu I'm assuming FreeBSD uses a buffer cache, right? If so, how can its size be adjusted? Isn't there supposed to be a file in the kernel source called stune or mtune or something with a BUFPAGES parameter? I can't find it. I want to be able to find out how much memory my buffer cache is using, and adjust it smaller if I can. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. -- Steve Gilbert Internet: gilbert@cs.utk.edu Backups, Department of Computer Science University of Tennessee, Knoxville
