we've been using vb as a front end for the past two years and have been
quite happy w/ the results.  We coded using both PB and VB for head to head 
comparisons and our preference was VB.  One major consideration was look and 
feel -VB clearly had a much more standard interface.  While PB definitely eases 
the creation of db linking, VB provided a great deal of flexibility.  You know, 
it has a lot to do with the talents of your programmer -ours was so good 
Microsoft hired him away!\
