The 14F is a busmastering card that uses DMA for data transfer. The 14N is a PIO card that used the same chipset. It only seems to have DOS drivers for it from Ultrastor (no NT/OS2/*ix). > >Is there a driver for the 14N available ? > Not that I know of. >Where could I get info about the 14N which might help >write a driver for it ? > Don't know how Ultrastor is as far as giving out programming info. The 14N was a low-end card that seemed to be orphaned as soon as it hit the market. The target market (low-end SCSI cards) is just brutal, and not very profitable. >Thanks a lot for your valuable hints ! > >Pascal Pederiva >Open Systems Support >Digital Equipment Corp.
