Date: 29 Nov 1994 19:55:21 GMT Organization: CS Labs, University of Tennessee, Knoxville Lines: 13 Distribution: world Message-ID: <GILBERT.94Nov29145522@duncan.cs.utk.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: duncan.cs.utk.edu When I use ps with the v flag to look at virtual memory stuff, I get an error about it not being able to find info on trs (sorry, I don't have the exact message), and I don't get a field for TRS (amount of memory allocated to the program's text segment). What is wrong here, and how can get this info? I know I can use /usr/bin/size, but that won't tell me how much of the text segment is actually in memory. Is there any way of overcoming this? Much thanks for any help. -- Steve Gilbert Internet: gilbert@cs.utk.edu Backups, Department of Computer Science University of Tennessee, Knoxville
