hi -- i happened to do an archie search for my own code today, just
to see what would turn up. much to my amazement, my editor, vile, seems
to have become part of at least some FreeBSD distributions.

now, that's fine. i love the fact that my code's being used. but the
version is way out of date. the version i found (i forget which site -- i
had trouble connecting to some of them) was 3.61. i've released 4.5
(and previou) since then. i'm about to release 4.9 or 4.10.

how can i make sure that the latest stuff gets into the right hands at
the right time?

paul

(the 4.5 version is currently available from ftp.cayman.com, in pub/vile)
