PPP 2.1.2b compiles without modification on FreeBSD 1.1.5.1.  I know
this for sure, because I did it.  The source I used was from the LINUX
area on Sunsite so it's possible that it was modified from the original
source.

Sorry I had a diff for that (that I posted here a week or two ago),
but my FreeBSD system is kinda hosed right now due to some disk
corruption (I think I have some bad RAM that's playing havoc with
things).

But anyway, the patch for 2.0 is pretty easy.  It's a matter of
defining something in the Makefile and adding an ifdef in one of
the .c files.
