Umm, 127.0.0.1 is the localhost address.  This address should be the
machine that you are on, but on the 'localhost' device which is used for
loopback and such.

So, your ISC machine should have 127.0.0.1 set to itself and your FreeBSD
machine should have 127.0.0.1 set to itself (check out /etc/netstart)

Basically, your ISC machine sounds like it's mis-configured and/or
you're using a reserved address that shouldn't be used for generic
networking.
