I read that FreeBSD had the ability to run SCO binaries.... How?

I moved a copy of ksh from my SCO to my FreeBSD, and it said "invalid ("

I'm running FreeBSD 2.0 Release from cdrom.com on:
a Cx486dx2/66 VLB (w/AMI bios)
8 MB 70ns RAM
PAS rev.C
Mountain FileSafe/250
Tseng Labs 4000/W32p (cardex) VLB VGA
Winbond IDE controller VLB (with 3 drives 0:quantum 540 (where the
FreeBSD root is) 1:Maxtor 7213a and 2:Seagate st3120a (where the /usr is)
MultiTech Internal 28.8 MT2834ZPX (beta 0.00)

and invisible to FreeBSD,
AN AZTECH 268 Double Speed CD-ROM (I will be adding a 1X mitsumi soon)

Also, under X, the X -probeonly kills my display....
