Message-ID: <D05pH6.2y8@nervous.com> Followup-To: poster Sender: pizzi@nervous.com (Riccardo Pizzi) Organization: the Nervous Consulting Headquarters, Rimini, Italy Date: Fri, 2 Dec 1994 00:03:06 GMT Lines: 16 The title says it all - does the PocketEthernet I from Xircom work with BSDI's BSD/386 1.1? I have one of them plugged in my parallel port but it doesn't seem to be recognized. I'm trying to use it to install BSD/386 on a notebook (Compaq 386 LTE)... when I issue the "ifconfig pe0" it says something like "adapter not found". If I try "ifconfig xir0" the system panics! Any hint GREATLY appreciated... please email since I do not read these groups regularly.
