Actually, 1777.  This was a bug, which is now fixed.

   2) The SCSI tape install did not work.  I followed the directions
   in the RELNOTES.FreeBSD.  It just sat there.  However doing a
   tar tf /dev/rst0 works from the shell prompt.

Try the December 2nd install floppies.  Should be now fixed, sorry!
