Hello, i new to FreeBSD, forgive me if this is a faq.

I tried to install FreeBSD 2.0 on my machine, but have
few problems:

1. I have a Pro Audio Spectrum soundcard, so it wrote in
GENERIC
device snd1 at isa? port 0x388

And rebuild the kernel.

But it doesnt work. cat something to /dev/audio gives only an error that my
souncard isnt't properly installed on the system.

The kernel probes at boot and find a pas0 at 0x1f88 on eisa....

though experienced in linux, very confused ...

2. i tried to load ip_mroute*.
modload says : undefienied symbol "_xxxinit"
		cat prelinl ip_mroute... to ..

3. Is there a special driver for vat ?? It seems that i missing the file
vat_audio.* .

Thanks for your help !

Bye Frank
