I have a Wangtek 5150ES which works OK. It's a little loud since I have it
sitting on a desk in its own little box. When I bought it, it was the least
expensive, compared to Archive and Tandberg. Cipher wouldn't work.

Theoretically, yes. In real life, there are always problems. I'm lucky not
to have any with my Wangtek, I untarred the 386bsd distribution while running
the tiny boot disk (yes, I had a tar binary prepared beforehand :-)

Exabytes are notoriously difficult to get to work, but they should work with
386bsd.
