OK, I got the BSD 1.1 CD.  Yes, I realize I must learn UNIX. No, I don't know 
my rear from a UNIX prompt.  I am sure someone can help me in a nano-second.

I did;
   1 make images of kernal, cpio, filesys floppys
   2 followed instructions and installes BSD in 100 MB vol of my hard drive.

about the fourth time I booted this system, I got a # LOGIN:.  
This confused me, and I am dead in the water.  I Loged in as root but received 
"don't login as root, use su ".

I tried to log in as su but it won't let me.  

What is my next step to be
