Date: 6 Dec 1994 20:33:50 GMT Organization: Clemson University Lines: 17 Distribution: na Message-ID: <3c2hre$8dm@hubcap.clemson.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: pluto.cs.clemson.edu Hi there, I am doing some serious study on the design and implementation of object-oriented micro-kernels. I have some good experience programming in the internals of Mach (CMU) micro-kernel. But this micro-kernel is not OO based. I want to know what kind of features should be available to call an operating-system (or micro-kernel) object-oriented?. I would like some pointers (technical reports, journal papers ) to this kind of stuff. Are there any commercial / research implementations of such kernels?. In case of any valuable suggestions/advise/hints/tips/pointers, please e-mail me at Ram_Saripalli@bocaraton.ibm.com (Please note that I am using my friend's account). Thanks a lot, Ramakrishna Saripalli. -- Murali K Earagolla 111-4,Earle Street Department of Computer Science Clemson,SC 29631. Clemson University Home ph # (803) 654-3346 off Ph # (803) 656-3768
