I have a CDU-33 (33a?) CDROM drive, and I'd like to use FreeBSD. As it
is for 32-bit operating systems, I can use Linux or OS/2, but not
FreeBSD with this drive. My question is this: are the drives either
likely to be supported in the (near) future, or will it be possible for
me to write such a driver in reasonable time (as an experienced Unix
software engineer) or should I do something else entirely?

Thanks for your comments...
