Date: 9 Dec 1994 00:39:31 GMT Organization: Kent State University Lines: 11 Message-ID: <3c8903$sdv@ns.mcs.kent.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: condor.mcs.kent.edu I have a CDU-33 (33a?) CDROM drive, and I'd like to use FreeBSD. As it is for 32-bit operating systems, I can use Linux or OS/2, but not FreeBSD with this drive. My question is this: are the drives either likely to be supported in the (near) future, or will it be possible for me to write such a driver in reasonable time (as an experienced Unix software engineer) or should I do something else entirely? Thanks for your comments... -greg
