I can add a few words... a) While reading a bind mailing list I've discovered a while ago that till the very last time Linux had a hard-compiled limit of 64 file locks (sic!) for the all system! The linked list of file locks was added quite a week ago. b) someone reported that setsockopts() and some other net API functions are still not fully functional. But being a happy FreeBSD user, I know Linux OS a bit, and it's great... folks, believe me, they _all ARE great_! I was in a doubt, and I checked it myself (some of my friends are using Linux). : -- : Peter Mutsaers | AT Computing bv, P.O.
