It is not a matter of what LINUX has done for UNIX, it is a matter of
what LINUX has done for the PC UNIX platform. And in my opionion
LINUX has contributed a lot. It along with FreeBSD has brought UNIX
to the end-users pc for Free. And that in itself is great.
Ya know this whole flame linux thing flame FreeBSD thing has gotten
out of hand, and it is not just you. I am sick and tired of reading
about which guy can flame which OS the most.
I think LINUX has doen a good bit for UNIX in general and I feel that
youa re leaving that part of it out, however conveniantly that may be
for you.
